ALL IS NOW SET FOR THE LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY (LASU) TO LAUNCH 6,000 ACCOMMODATION HOSTELS.

This was made known by the Lagos State University Vice Chancellor - Prof. Lanre Fagbohun when he was granted an interview to the News Agency of Nigeria yesterday.

According to him, LASU is now set to provide 6,000 accommodation hostels.

You will recalled that for the past few years, LASU have not been able to provide hostels for its male students as only the females students are given accommodation facilities.
Just yesterday the VC Prof. Lanre Fagbohun in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria stated that Lagos state university is set to embark on the construction of a 6,000 accommodation hostels for both male and female students.

He also stated in the interview that having gotten the permission from the Lagos state house of assembly, and the go ahead from the state government to embark on the said project, that the contract would be given to private construction companies as there are many unfinished projects in the state, that the project would not be left in the hands of the government alone.
