Multiple awar d-winning Gospel musical icon, Nathaniel Bassey is expected to storm the prestigious Lagos state University, LASU today Friday.


The musical icon is expected to join the Lagos state University Christian community, LCC along with other powerful Gospel singers.

Nigeria’s Nathaniel Bassey, is a spiritual and artistic masterpiece who has dominated the airwaves with many of his compositions including ‘someone is at the door’, ‘Elohim’, ‘no other God’ "Onise Iyanu" and ‘Book of life’. Nathaniel Bassey is expected to mount the stage together to perform his melodious tune ‘this God is too good’, which featured Micah Stampley. This song will send patrons standing on their feet and holding hands together in worship.

LASU TO LAUNCH 6,000 ACCOMMODATION HOSTELS.

ALL IS NOW SET FOR THE LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY (LASU) TO LAUNCH 6,000 ACCOMMODATION HOSTELS.




This was made known by the Lagos State University Vice Chancellor - Prof. Lanre Fagbohun when he was granted an interview to the News Agency of Nigeria yesterday.

According to him, LASU is now set to provide 6,000 accommodation hostels.

You will recalled that for the past few years, LASU have not been able to provide hostels for its male students as only the females students are given accommodation facilities.
Just yesterday the VC Prof. Lanre Fagbohun in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria stated that Lagos state university is set to embark on the construction of a 6,000 accommodation hostels for both male and female students.

Thinking is to direct one's mind towards someone or something; use one's mind actively to form connected ideas or to have a specified opinion of something or someone. Reasoning on the other hand is the action of thinking about something in a logical, sensible way. Reasoning is a bit deeper than thinking.

Children hardly think deeply about issues before they verbalise what they have in their mind. They only reason deeply once in a while. My definition of a child has nothing to do with biological age, some people are childish grandfathers, while we have adult minded toddlers.

Every word and action should be subjected to logical reasoning before they are spoken or taken. One must be sure that there is coherence and logic in an argument before one engages in it. To speak, then retract and claim it was a slip of tongue is nothing short of childishness. Af…

Nigerian Professor, Maduike Ezeibe 'Discovers Cure For HIV/AIDS'


The Vice Chancellor of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike in Abia state, Professor Francis Otunta has announced the 'discovery of a drug which he claims is potent in the cure of the epidemic HIV/AIDs'.

Otunta told newsmen at the university campus on Wednesday, February 1, that the finding followed years of scientific research by the institution.

He said that the breakthrough was made by Prof. Maduike Ezeibe, a researcher in the university.

According to him, Ezeibe had presented the drug to the University management, Senate and Council, where he explained the processes he went through to arrive at his finding.

“Prof. Ezeibe is a researcher in Veterinary Medicine and one may wonder how he discovered a drug to cure a human ailment,” he said.

The VC said that Ezeibe had equally presented the drug to his colleagues in the medical field and nobody had contradicted his finding.
