The Danger of Playing "too hard to get", Guys Be Careful

It's been  6months since brother Victor proposed to sister Debbie, and there is no reply yet. Bro Victor was hoping that he will get his reply this month ,so after Sunday service he asked her to wait for few minutes 
"Happy sunday sis Debbie, hope you are blessed in today's service?" Victor asked
"Yes,thanks. And hope you are blessed too" Debbie asked 
"I was really blessed, infact all the word of prophesy was directed to only me today. One of which is i will hear a goodnews this week" Victor said
"So sister Debbie,any good news for me, have you gotten an answer from God about my proposal?" Victor asked
"You need to be patient Bro Victor, am still praying and I need to be very convinced. 

The bible says love is patient or is your own love not patient?" She asked
"Of course my love for you is patient that is why I have waited for six months" Victor said
"Just wait a little more" Debbie said
"See this  brother o, he has only waited for six months and he thinks he is patient. Bro  Yemi waited for 1year before my friend Bose agreed to marry him " She thought

Another six months passed, making it a whole good year that Bro Victor have proposed yet he still doesn't know his fate. He is already feeling disturbed and weak. For the bible says hope deferred makes the heart sick.

Meanwhile Sister Debbie is praying for another brother in the fellowship that she likes so much, she wished he was the one that proposed to her. She kept  Bro Victor wating as a last resort, in case the one she likes doesn't show up.

"Bro John please advice me, what else do you think I should do, it is 1year and 7month that I proposed to sister Debbie and yet I don't know my hope. And I am so sure God was leading me to her" Bro Victor asked his prayer partner Bro John 
"Bro Victor should I tell you the truth, I will advice you to move on. You are just an option B to sister Debbie. Thank Godness Our God is not a God that goes on sabbatical leave,sister Debbie would have said that is why she hasn't gotten an answer to her prayer. Go back to God in prayer and he will redirect you, if Sister Debbie refuses to comply to God's will then God will replace her. Don't forget God cannot be short of substitutes " Bro John said

Bro Victor went back to God and prayed and the lord led him to another sister and in less than 1month he got a yes and they started preparing for marriage few months after

Sister Debbie just found out that the brother she likes so much is engaged to someone else, so she picked up her phone to call Bro Victor 
"Bro Victor good evening " She greeted
"Good evening sister, how are you?" He asked
"Am fine, Thanks. I will like to see you o" She said
"Hope no problem?" He asked
"No o, it is about our unsettle business. I think God is speaking now" She said
"Really🙄" he said
"So what is God saying?" He asked
"I think you are the right man for me" She said shyly
"Really, after 2years You mean God just answered your prayers" he asked
"Yes, am sorry it took long" She said
"You don't need to be sorry o my sister.  But God has already answered my own prayers too, am getting married in 5months time" he said
"What! I thought you said you love me, so you were just lying to me. This is not fair o, and you call yourself a Christian...." She started blabbing 
Bro Victor didn't even allow her finish her gibberish before he ended the call....

Bro Victor deserves an award, the most patient man on earth. seriously who can wait for 18months just to get the result of a proposal . Let's give Bro Victor a standing Ovation .

Sister Debbie deserves a resounding slap🙅, am sure after that call she will be crying and she will start badmouthing Bro Victor . she will start saying ' Bro Victor proposed to me and he is already engaged before i could give him a yes, he must have proposed to more than four sisters at a time'...bla bla. And people who doesn't know the full gist too will start condemning the poor guy that deserves an award sef. 

Are there sisters like Debbie in real life?
Yes o,they are plenty o,  I pray you don't meet them. They delay brothers unnecessarily in the name of God has not answered my prayer, as if God is deaf. God is not deaf, it is either you are cut off from God and he doesn't listen to you anymore( Isaiah 59:1-2)or you just don't want to accept what God is telling you.

The numbers of months you used to delay that brother is not directly proportional to the way he will respect you.

Unless you are not a child of God, God answers prayer speedily, God is not in the business of delay ,so stop dragging God into your lies. Just tell the brother directly if you are not interested and let him move on, and if you are interested just say yes and stop delaying.

There is no stipulated months or days that i can say is the ideal time to reply a proposal, the most important is that you should give the reply to the brother as soon as you get the answer from God, whether it is a yes or a no.Don't be like sis Debbie, may help our sisters in Jesus name. 


Make sure you help your male friends with this..... It is surely a wake up call 

The reason why we have too many weak or bad guys, who are 
 HOTBAND materials  instead of husband materials this days can be traced to lack of knowledge,  while many ladies are taking relationship counseling serious and will always attend marital programs to reshape themselves,  95% of guys are busy running after  quick money scheme, money making seminars and many more, thinking money is the only thing that can make a good home 

Only a fool will say money is not good, But the fact remain once you fail maritally,  you will fail in all your endeavors,  when you don't have a knowledge of how to run a home,  you don't know anything about endurance,tolerance,  understanding, being teachable and many more as a potential head of a house,  how will you run a home successfully as the head of the house when you are married.....success is not accidental, not by fluke or by assumption, so there is not way such person will not fail  

Many guys came from a practically wrong home and they know that very well,  but are not taking any responsibility to be better in order  not to repeat  the same mistake their parents make,  they thought once you can get enough money,  you will have a good home,  today many guys office is the football betting house, football viewing centres,  lotto house, newspaper stand,  pool house  and many more,  while many single ladies are doing exploit, discovering their vision and running with it, many guys are getting weak with only a thought of when I have enough money,  I will have a good family ..thereby making many of this sister to keep searching for years, because guys are not living up to expectations,  and a lady running with a vision will never want to settle down with a visionless man 

Yes,  money is very good and I can never be poor on earth as well,  but I can tell you that the equation of a good future, is simply

SUCCESS IN MARITAL LIFE = SUCCESS IN MINISTRY.    When you have a good home,  you will Keep shining and progressing in all your endeavors, 

 Guys we need to wake up,  we need to start searching for knowledge on how to keep our homes in future, the exact way we are searching for how to make money sharply 

 Remember the future that you don't prepare for... You are not permitted to get there... The marital future you don't prepare for, can never show up as well.
Shaine your eyes before you say ''I DO''.
