WHERE ARE THE NINE? (THANKSGIVING)

TOPIC: WHERE ARE THE NINE/ THANKSGIVING/ FAREWELL MESSAGE

BIBLE READING: Luck 17:11-19

Our topic today will be on Thanksgiving.  Do you know that everywhere Jesus pass through, there will be a positive mark.

Luck 17:11-9

“ it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”

Luke 17:11‭-‬19 

Peradventure there is any pain you have been carrying for so long, because Jesus Christ is passing through this sanctuary today, he will take away those pains in Jesus name. There will be a solution to those problems today on Jesus name.

Only one among those that where healed realize what Jesus Christ did for him, he came back to appreciate Jesus Christ.

Where are the nine is our topic today.

Human being are generally ungrateful.

Ten people where healed but only one came back to appreciate God.

Peradventure you are in the house today, and you are passing through something, Jesus Christ will intervene in your situation today in Jesus name.

There’s no one that can say authoritatively that God have not done anything for him or her. You have experience the wonders of God in your own way. So God is saying where are the nine? Am I one of those nine? Am I one of those that have not come out to say thank you to Jesus?

Psalm 100:1 says “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 

Psalm 103:2 says “Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits”

You must be grateful. Psalm 103 says, do not forget all his benefits… learn to appreciate God. 

Where are the nine? Where have they gone to? Only one came to appreciate God. Unless we come back to appreciate God for all the things that he has being doing for us, we may not be fully healed…

God knows the beginning and the ending of everything. The fact that you are alive today, you need to thank God.

Where are the nine? Any one who is not grateful is a wicked person, anyone who is not grateful is not graceful. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
