- Federalw Government has said that the Chibok School where girls were abducted will soon be reopened
- 276 female students were abducted from GGSS in April 14, 2014
The Federal Government has said that it is working hard to ensure the reopening of Government Girls’ Secondary School, GGSS, Chibok, Borno for normal academic activities in the 2017/2018 session.
The Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Committee on North-East Initiative, Tijjani Tumsah made the disclosure in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja on Thursday April 13.
Recalled that 276 female students of GGSS, Chibok, located in Borno South Senatorial District, were abducted by members of Boko Haram on April 14, 2014, and 50 of them escaped from their abductors.
